Governor of the State of Maryland MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNIVERSITY Classes graduating this year from the University of Maryland will go out into a world which offers opp ortunities for achievement greater than mankind ever has known. In no field are the opportunities greater than in the preparation and uses of thera- peutical agents. It is in this field that graduates of the School of Pharmacy of the University have long distinguished themselves, and I am confident that the Class of 1947 has among its members those who also will become bright stars in the firmament of phar- maceutical accomplishment.
