ffi Our Energetic Business Manager. R. AUGUSTUS C. BINSWANGER was educated in the public schools of Baltimore City. He attended the Baltimore City College for three years, and left in his sophomore year to prepare for the Johns Hopkins University. He was graduated at the Johns Hopkins in 1896 with the degree of bachelor of arts. Mr. Binswanger next took up the study of the law. and was graduated at the University of Maryland, School of Law. in June. 1899. He has been very prominent in Republican politics in the Fifteenth ward, making numerous speeches for his party. Mr. Binswanger is quite a humorist, and his dialectic work is well known among the churches in and around Baltimore. While at the Baltimore City College he was the recipient of the Wight medal for proficiency in elocution, which is yearly given for the best declamatory rendition at a contest held by the two literary societies at the College — the Bancroft and the Carrollton. to the latter of which Mr. Binswanger belonged. To his energetic business ability and popularity, the success and efficiency of the ' 99 Year Book is greatly indebted. The Board of Editors.
