AS WE LOOK BACK, WE REMEMBER Portland Street As we look back, we remember only the colorful moments. Those are the memories that we retain, whether they be fondly recalled or not. The good times we recall with pleasure, perhaps again ex- periencing the elation of the moment we recall. These memories we will always treasure. There were also less delightful ex- periences which we are forced to recall. Somehow these moments were also very significant to us, each in its own way. As much as we would like to repress them, those recollections are now a part of us, adding depth to our character. Fondly or not, we remember the color- ful moments in our lives.
