Gettys Memorial Dormi- tory was completed in August, 1965 and dedication cere- monies were held on Septem- ber 19, following a luncheon in Hardy Hall. It was the first residence hall to be con- structed at MH-B in more than 45 years. The building was named in honor of the late Dr. A. C. Gettys and Mrs. Gettys of Vernon. edcbaaaa' GETTYS MEMORIAL DORMITORY Debbie Dickson, great niece of Dr. and Mrs. A. C. Gettys cut the ribbon formally opening the new dormitory.
