5 v MARTHA JAMES Martha is our scholar. Coming of an old Mary Hardin-Baylor family and following a brilliant sister, she has made a record of her own. Her distinctions began with being chosen as Freshman bride: her interest in languages made her an officer in three honor societies: she has written a prize story for Sigma Tau Deltag and appropriately enough, she is presi- dent of Alpha Chi.
