It Was a warm day in spring . . . in one of the music studios sat three students -passing the time of day-getting ready for a session with Tannhauser no doubt. The instructor, deciding that the water from some stale posies should be emptied, hit upon a novel idea: she instructed the girls to walk out on the roof of the arcade . . . wait patiently until someone approached .... then proceed to pour the water on the head of the innocent victim .... Some of us just must have our little fun you know! Well, so the story goes: the young and unlarned students proceeded to do as told . . . meandered out to the ledge .... waited . . . time grew heavy on their hands .... they dealt a hand . . . er pardon . . . fact is that soon a nice game of HI spy was in progress Cthese were spying out victims .... while the art students from third floor were spying themy . . . Miss Town- send, of the Junior Misses Department, approached. Joy! joy! screamed our little ones . . while fond teacher looked on from her sheltered place in the win- dow. Miss T. drew nearer . . . our chubby ones poised in flight . . . per- haps we should say Plight CMiss T's if she didn't dodgej . . then she joined the game and spied . . . we won't say what else she did . . . to put it mildly, she got 'em stated. Some- what abashed for the time being, our little dears let Miss T. go unharmed . . . . but returned vigilantly to watch for the next victim . . . they hadn't long to wait. A group of Stewdents came puttering along . . . this time our wee wreakers of vengeance didn't hesi- tate: a-one, a-two, a-three . . . and splash: oh, wet a day! . . . Gleel glee! cried teacher from her second story window . . . BUT . . . what's sauce for . . . and a gentle trickle emerged from the windows of the art studio . . onto the heads of our unsuspecting juveniles it splushed-Too bad dere teacher was still shelteredl Just shows to go you that there ain't no juzticel
