Tfeamer HISTORY The Association for Childhood Education was formed in 1930 when the International Kindergarten Union merged with the National Council of Primary Education. The Mary Hardin-Baylor Branch was organized on November 23, 1935, with Demeris Buchel for its president and Miss Winifred Mabry sponsor. Librarian HISTORY The International Relations Club is one of the younger organizations on the campus. Its purpose is to stimu- late interest in international affairs and progress of peace. It is sponsored by the Division of Intercourse and Education of the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. This year it sent two delegates to Shawnee.
