Tfeamer HISTORY The Association for Childhood Education was formed in 1930 when the International Kindergarten Union merged with the National Council of Primary Education. The Mary Hardin-Baylor Branch was organized on November 23, 1935, with Demeris Buchel for its president and Miss Winifred Mabry sponsor.
