The purpose is the inculcation of the ideals of scholarship, scientific attitude and method, and social service in the study of all social problems. Treasurer HISTORY The Spanish Society, Sigma Delta Pi, was founded November 14, l9l9, at the University of California. In 1921 it was agreed to invite the Spanish circles of other universities to join with this society, making a national organization. Tfeamer HISTORY The Association for Childhood Education was formed in 1930 when the International Kindergarten Union merged with the National Council of Primary Education. The Mary Hardin-Baylor Branch was organized on November 23, 1935, with Demeris Buchel for its president and Miss Winifred Mabry sponsor.
