The club has as its purpose the study of characters in history Whose lives were a challenge to others. The motto is Certum Pete Finem and the colors are crimson and gold. Since that time Historical-Phila has offered its mem- bers social, spiritual, and intellectual training through loyalty, sincerity and good fellowship.
