STILL INITIATION Behind those padded noses and silly get-ups are hopeful Academia pledges-seahags, Ferdinands, and chorus girls-More Freshmen initiation. It seems to be getting some of them down. Academia pledges what Would Elizabeth Arden think? My Ann certainly looks natural. Or do you think so? The rear view of the Freshmen is more de- sirable-What do you think? Ferdinand in the person of Maria Mitchell or Maria in the person of Ferdinand--Any way you take it -it's still a lot of Bull, This prime group of Historical Phila pledges-Well, words seem to fail me at this time. Alma Lee Minnox makes a very effective goon--the Well fed type.

Senior Society Receptions The Historical-Phila Society goes Napoleonic. This is one scene from their reception. Royal Academia presents the Queen of the festival in the person of Miss Elizabeth Moore. Introducing Miss Elizabeth Moore, President of the Royal Academia Literary Society, Marie Wahlers, Spanish senorita, and Christene Lindsey President of Historical-Phila Literary Society. Elizabeth and Christene were each presented as the climax to their respective society receptions.
