Her main ambition is to teach. Margot Ioan Chapman Brandon, Man. A Cover Girl of the Bc-Ho 119491, member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternityg Publicity Rep. for Home Ec. 119511, Social Chairman of the Residence House Committee 119501, Vice-Pres. of Women's Resi- dence 119511, Co-Ushering Chair- man W.A. 119511. She is preparing for a career in Extension Work or Teaching. Kathleen Gertrude Clark Winnipeg. Activities focus mainly on athletics, although has sung for both the Glee Club and the Choral Society. On the S.C.M. executive, she has also been 1950 Vice-Pres. and 1951 Pres. of Home Ec. Ath- letics and representing the girls on the Athletic Directorate. 1-ler ambi- tion is to teach athletics. Donna I . Crawford Winnipeg. Another Kelvinite, Don- na is proud possessor of three ls- bister Scholarships 11948-501. She is the Vice-Pres. of Sigma Kappa and worked on the Telephone Directory committee of 1950. Whether to be a Foods Lab. Technician or a Nutritionist is her problem. Barbara A. Cuff Winnipeg. Barbara has taken part in the Home Ec. Varsity Varieties skit, 1949, as well as being Class Pres. for 1949 and 1950. She has also played basketball tor the Faculty. Taking Dietetics, her suc- cuessful future lies in Home Service work. Dorothy Dickey Selkirk, Man. Dorothy came to Home Ec. in 1947 on a Leonard Foundation Scholarship and has kept up her good work. Taking a Dietetic Option, she has no major interest, but, when a gal can cook as well as she can-who knows? Sylvia Campbell Fort Churchill, Man. Being 1948 Cover Girl ot the Ec-Ho is enough to introduce Sylvia. Sec. of a part of the Debating Society 119471, swam in the lnterfaculiy Gala 119471, Social Chairman for Zeta Tau Alpha, etc. 1-ler ambition is to be a Com- mercial Dietitian. Connie Christie Winnipeg. Connie came to Home Bc. in 1947 from Kelvin. This gal took part in the Glee Club, 1948, and is also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity. We know that shell make good in Extension Work. Dorothy E. Coles Winnipeg. This young lady is a grad. from Daniel Mac. She is an active member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority. Dot's ambition is to go into l-lospital Dietetics. M. Audrey Crewson Cornwall, Ont. An Easterner, Audrey has been taking Clothing and Textiles, a subject she some day hopes to teach. Home Ecs. Rep. on the Brown and Goldg has been active in the Student Christian Movement, Publicity Rep. and Chairman of the F.G.C.C. and a U Co-Chairman. She intends to take a MasIer's Degree. Barbara Claire Curlette Winnipeg. Although a Winnipegei, Barbara has spent some time in B.C. and is taking a General Course with very General Options. She has received her senior athletic played Varsity basketball and is Fourth Year Athletic Rep. Pres. ct Alpha Gamma Delta. lntends to take Extension Work. Ioan D. Eddy Togo, Sask. loan has sung in the U Choral Society for the past three years and has been chasing a Dietetics and Home Bc. in Business Option, but what good is the busi- ness when that ring indicates that she'll be using Dietetics in her own kitchen? This live wire is most famous, however, for her Residence capers. Next year Nancy will head down East. Doreen E. Andrychuk Winnipeg. When she hasn't been busy doing mal-ze-up for the Drama Society or representing the Ec-1-lo, 1948, and F.G.C.C., 1949, she has been pursuing a General Option Course. An active Tri Delta, Doreen has done a lot of publicity work and been Rush Chairman dur- ing 1949. ls undecided as to teach- ing or doing oratory work. Betty .lo Ball Winnipeg. This Home Eccer is a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Her interests seem to lie in two directions, playing intramural volley- ball and the piano. Betty was Publicity Rep. of First Year Home EC. in 1947. .loan M. Benedict Winnipeg. Graduated from St. lame's Collegiate, loan has been pursuing a dietetics course for the past few years. loan is sure to reach the top of the ladder of success soon in Hospital or Com- mercial Dietetics. Ruth Bewell Gladstone, Man. Ruth holds a Manitoba Scholarship C1948-49D and a Home Economics Student Society Scholarship 619501. Active on the S.C.M. executive for three years, as well as in curling and choir work. lntends to take up work with Childrens clubs. Margaret Blair Winnipeg. A Kelvin grad., Marge has been active in Student Relations, Choral Society and the S.C.M. A Zeta Tau Alpha member, her in- terests lie in Dietetics-a field in which were sure she will be ex- tremely proficient. Poge 148 Mary Ethelyn Abel Winnipeg. Sec.-Treas., F.G.C.C., 19505 Class Pres., 19495 Freshie Week Convenor, 19505 Debator5 hockey, 1949-515 Vice-Stick, 1951. Outside ot U Lyn is a swimming instructor. A certain success as either a dietitian or a housewife. Came from St. lame's Collegiate in 1947. Beth Balfour Winnipeg. The possessor of a Tri Delta Scholarship 119501, Beth is also President of Alpha Delta Pi and Brown and Gold Rep. for Fourth Year. Bowling C1947-511, acting as Advertising Manager of the Ec-Ho 119501, and doing make-up for the Glee Club f1950l seem to hold her interests. Peggy Bean Winnipeg. A former Kelvin grad., Peggy is one of the regular Home Ec. girls. A Pi Beta Phi with an undecided fate-but we wish you lots of luck, Peg. Louise Ingeborg Berger Nanton, Alta. This gal from Alberta is prominent in the Home EC. Council and doing a wonderful job of the Editorship of Canada's third great, the Ec-Ho. Louise has been a member of the Choral Society for four years, but her main interests lie in the Textile world. Beth Bickford The Pas, Man. This young lady led a quiet life during her U years. lnterfaculty curling and teaching seem to have claimed her talents, and we are sure she'll be able to cope with any situation her future pupils can produce. Virginia M. Blair Winnipeg. This athletic miss bowled with the U league, 1948-50, as well as giving figure skating lessons to children at the West End Memo- rial Community Club, 1948-50. Member of the Tri Delta Sorority, she hopes to soon become a Dietetic lnterne.

Elaine D. Ewart Regina, Sask. Elaine attended Central Collegiate lnstitute in Re- gina. A member of Alpha Delta Pi, she has danced in Home Ec. chorus lines, been a Cheerleader, a member of the Ec-Ho staff, 1951, and a Brown and Gold Rep., 1950. Another member of the 852 Club, she in- tends to marry an M.D. Carol Eyford Piney, Man. Carol has been taking a General Course and holds a Manitoba Scholarship. She par- ticipated in the Choral Society, 1950, 1950 Bowling Convenor and played volleyball, 1949 and hockey, 1950- 51. A member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Will major in either Ex- tension Work or Teaching. Maureen E. C. Fuller Calgary, Alta. Maureen was stam- peded here in 1948 and has taken part in many 1-lome Ec, activities. She has acted as Pres. of First Year, Home Ec. ski team and Treas. of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity-a sure success in Teaching. Helen I . Guild Brandon, Man. A former Brandon Collegiate member, Helen is now taking a General Home Ec. Course. She has been active in Residence curling and has hopes of becoming a member of the famed 852 Club. Lots of luck. Shirley M. Hayden Regina, Sask. Shirley has been Scholarship Chairman of Kappa Kappa Gamma and Treas. of Pan- hellenic for 1951, as well as Student Advisory Rep., 1951, and the Ec-Ho, 1951. She also enjoys badminton. Her escapades have livened up Residence, and she was one of the famous quartet at the 1949 Barn Dance. A future in either Home Service or Magazine worl-1, Elaine M. Henderson Craik, Sasl-1. This gal hails from out of the west . A well liked bowling and swimming enthusiast, Elaine is an active member of Sigma Kappa Sorority. Her ambition is to interne in Dietetics at an American hospital, preferably Chicago or Minneapolis. Page 150 Evelyn C. Elders Winnipeg. Ev, an immigrant from Port Garry, has been at U since 1948. An Alpha Gamma Delta member, she has been taking Tex- tiles and Education. She is sure to win many friends in her chosen fieldeExtension Service. Shirley B. Forsyth Lauder, Man. The capable Pres. of Sigma Kappa Sorority, Shirley has participated in both curling, 1947- 48, and bowling, 1948-49. Her vivacious personality and sincerity are sure keys to open the door to a successful future in Dietetics. Joyce M. E. Gordon Winnipeg. loy hails from Glenlawn Collegiate tin tar away St. Vitall. She has painted for the Drama Society and is a member of the Canterbury Club. A Tri Delta, Shirley is majoring in Dietetics. Joyce Haig Winnipeg. loyce is a Lord Selkirk grad. and is taking a General Course. Mal-ie-up Convenor for the Drama Society, l95O and a Home EC. Rep. on the F.G.C.C. A Tri Delta Sorority member, this tall blonde has a bright future in either Extension Work or Teaching. Colleen T. Henderson East End, Sask. Sports seem to have taken up a lot of Colleen's time, as she has participated in lntertaculty volleyball, 1948-505 basketball, 1948- 51 and Curling Convenor, 1951. A member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, possesses all the in- gredients for a successful career in Dietetics. Margaret I. I ones Winnipeg. Marg has participated in the Choral Society and the Student Christian Movement for three and four years respectively. Any spare time is spent at the Winter Club and the rest as a S.C.M. Fort Garry Librarian. A member of Sigma Kappa, intends to be a Teacher.
