Janzen HE M.A.C. seniors have completed a year of basketball that has been very interesting in spite of the fact that the opposition was too strong for the team to get into any of the play-offs. Many of the games. however. were of excellent quality and closely contested. so that the season has been a valuable one in training those members who will be present in the fall to form the nucleus for next year's team. HE M.A.C. junior team did not do so well at the beginning of the season and as a result lost out in the Hrst half of the series. After Xmas, however. they hit their stride, going through the second half of the series without losing a game. Having won the second half. M.A.C. had to play Medicals for the division championshin, and in the two-game series that was played. M.A.C. Won -1-5-3-I. They now meet Science for the junior bas- ketball championship and prospects look good for the team to bring the cup to M.A.C. Page One Hundred and Thirty-one
