-M EN'S ATH LETIC ASSOCIATION This season was o-ne filled with bad breaks and the loss of several close games. The team finished with a reco-rd of 6-lO, but with a little luck, this could have easily read ll-5. The team had a record of 3-9 as a member of the Northeast College Conference. As the season progressed, the boys seemed to improve and were victorious in three of their last four games including two victories at the tournament held at Ricker. The team scoring was paced by Ordman Alley, our outstanding Senior guard. Ordie led the conference in scoring with an average of 24.4 points a game, was voted to the All-Conference team, and was voted the outsanding player in the tournament where he scored 93 points in three games. The team benefitted greatly from the scoring of lack Cordon, the strong rebounding of Wayne Watt's,, the rebounding and scoring of jim Willis, and the steady team play of Eddie Allan. Leading the substitutes was john Gibson, a freshman who played very well toward the end of the year and shows great promise fo-r next season. Also contributing greatly to the team's success were reserves Don Fo-ster and Elliott Noyes who performed very well in several crucial situations. Although the season was not a winning one, the boys played well and the team was far better than the reco-rd may indicate. UPPER john tries for another two points. 3 V 67
