' The purpose of the Women's Athletic Association is to further athletic interests through supervised activities for all women students of Washington State Teachers College, This year the women met twice a week for practice in designated sports and scheduled tournaments. Co-ed nights ot games and four court volleyball provided fun for all. The accumulation of points for athletic activities enables womenfto receive awards at the athletic banquet at the end of the year. For the first three years the awards are various lettersg but at the end of the fourth year. a blazer is awarded to senior girls having a total of one thousand points. The lVlen's Athletic Association at Washington State Teachers College sponsors athletic events for the men on the campus and strives for good sportsmanship through team play and friendly competition. The organization, composed of all the men enrolled in the college, is guided by the officers and a Council o-f class representatives.
