Students were tripled in dorm rooms for the first time, the computer- oriented registration system became a reality, Kirwan Tower became a coed dorm, and there were new University Requirements. At many times, anyone indirectly or directly involved with the University of Kentucky may have felt as if they were starting over, or rather, working from the ground up. Perhaps this was appropriate for the end of a decade, as 1990 rapidly approached. Whatever the case, the changes required adjustments and caused a definite impact.
