f he 1985 Kentuckian Jniversity of Kentucky .exington, Kentucky t t 1 y he University of Kentucky set out on a new course in 1984-85 by adopting a selective admissions policy designed to bring the state's brightest students to the Lexington campus com- munity. For the first time some students had to attend community colleges and transfer later to UK, if they completed 24 hours and maintained a 2.0 av- erage. In sports, Joe B. Hall ended his career after 13 years as head coach of the Wildcats and Eddie Sutton, Arkansas coach, inherited the toughest coaching job in college basketball.
