But it's undeniable that the institution you're from is a key factor in the hiring. Richard Furst, dean of the College of Business Economics, had little sympathy for Denemark. The dean of the College of Education resigned, saying he didn't have enough funds, said Furst. His student-faculty ratio is nine-to-one. Mine is 28- to-one.
