FIRST COURTHOUSE IN KENTUCKY In this oldest courthouse in Kentuc y, which still stands in Danville, met the first Constitutional Convention in the state in 1785. At this convention, the basic laws of the constitution were enacted and Dani ' ille was selected as the first capital.
