There's no telling how many we would have scored if we hadn't called Dodge pass to Wiliam Harris, then a 46- yard field goal from jeff ward to make the score 21-17. lowa kicker, Tom Nichol, booted a 27- yard field goal to close the half at 24-17. Texas should have stayed in the locker room in the third quarter when their nightmare began. Chuck Long released his firing arm and connected on a four- touchdown passing salvo. First, a 33- yard pass to Bill Happel then a 49-yard bomb to lowa's uMr. Postman, Robert Smith.
