Texas Bachelor of Science in Home Economics Barbara transferred to IWC in her junior year and impressed her fellow students with her pleasant personality and variety of interests. She is a native San Antonian but has traveled throughout the southern and midwestern states. Beside-s travel, her interests include current events and politics. In prepara- tion for a tegivhing position. she worked with the Public Serv- ice Company as an apprentice home economist for two summers. She hopes to voiitinut: this tum-er in San Francisco after grad- uation. MISS DHARNIA ANN HARRIS Midland. In her junior year she was Santa Rosa Student Council Representative. At present. she is secretary of Phi Lamha Chi and a tn:-mber of Alpha Chi and the Texas Nursing Students Association. Following graduation she plans Io spend some time in foreign travel. MISS JOAN HARRINCTON San Antonio. Texas Bachelor of Arts in English .Ioan's interests are broad and varied but forused principally On the arts. She loves good reading and has bet-n doing research on Dostoeyvsky during her senior year. She also likes to play the piano and listen to the best in rlassical music. ,Ioan has been an honor student at IWC, a member of Alpha Chi, and on the pioneer staff of The Word, college literary magazine.
