Everybody seemed to be doing their own thing. Whether it meant coming “punked out,” trashed out or dressed up, we all went about our Daily Business with our usual flair. The gospel was preached to us, the New Testament thrust upon us. The traffic division decided to beef up its security by using computer registration on parking stickers. The Greeks had their chaotic round of parties with sometimes strange themes such as “Come on in, Pilgrim.” The pool halls were more crowded than ever as more and better video games were brought in. The ranks in the TV rooms swelled as All My Children and General Hospital started getting juicy. And a new and wonderful game was introduced to UH. It dictated that guys must stand in a circle and kick a little leather bag to each other in the process of pulling all the ligaments in their legs. Yes, hacky sack had made its appearance.
