we are the people In time someone would conjure up a term to summarize our actions and our thoughts and another era in American history would be tucked away, neatly identified. But those well-delineated divisions seemed to fade when we examined just what was significant about the school year. We who felt so alienated by the reverent resurrection of the country's past actually took on characteristics of the Americas that used to be.
