Cougar football team brings many to Dome Athletic events are only one aspect of campus life. Football seems to be the most popular since all home games are played in the Astrodome. This year with the best team in the school's history, fans flocked to the Dome by the thousands to support the Cougars. Cheerleaders were always planning poster parties and pep rallies to get students involved in supporting the team. In fact, they held one pep rally just for the dorm students. The band and the cheerleaders met in front of Moody Towers resident halls, and students wandered out by the hundreds. There probably would have been more but, Houston weather was being typical, so many chose to stay in out of the rain. Cougar mascot jumps on the tramp delighted at the score. 20 Cougar fans, in the Astrodome, anxiously wait to see if the extra kick is good-
