30 Education College Offers Teachers Numerous Degrees A vast number of teachers are needed today . . . and the University seeks to meet this need by offering a Bachelors Degree for four years of academic work with a major in education, a Masters Degree to graduate students with 36 hours of approved graduate work . . . an advanced Master of Education Degree with 36 hours above Masters Degree in specialized approved areas, and a Doctor of Education Degree in school adminis- tration, school supervision and specialized fields. HILLER Dean Three Degrees Awarded At Junior College Level Three diplomas may now be acquired for two years of academic work in the Junior College of the University . . . thus this extension of education beyond the high school level awards degrees in Associate of Art, Associate in Science and Associate in Business. One division of the college offers academic and pre-professional courses in Arts and Sciences, Nursing, Engineer- ing, and Business Administration; while the other division in the College of Tech- nology offers courses in the technical and vocational schools. Shirley McClean and Kathleen Landers keep their appointment with the Dean. Freshman Brent Davis applies for Junior College Aid. Freshman and sophomore students learn to appreciate the opportunities afforded with Junior College Aid.
