Homecoming Queen finalists were chosen from some 30 I ' niversity Coeds nominated for the honor. The four finalists, shown below crossing the campus, were feted at the numerous activities. HOMECOMING 1949 Homecoming activities were bigger and better this year than ever before. Even the rainy weather could not dampen ex-students and students ' spirit Homecoming Day. Audrey Totter, glamorous movie star. Eddie Dyer. Manager St. Louis Cardinals. May- or Oscar Holcombe were outstanding guests at the huge all-student pep rally. Miss Totter attended all Homecoming affairs as Honorary Homecoming Queen.
