AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A DIME I have had some rather peculiar experi- ences since I left the mint, said the dime to the penny. My first experience was that of being placed in a snuff box, which belonged to a dark complexioned dame. When I was removed from that dusty cell, I was given to a butcher for some doq meat. MY next adventure was most exciting. I was piCked up by a small boy who almost swal- lowed me. Later, I was given in exchange to a merchant who seemed very glad to get me. My last journey was to the office of the Dean of the University of Houston.
