FRENCetCLUB The Comme Ct Comme Ca Club is com- posed of students enrolled in the French Class at the day college. The club was or- ganized tor the purpose of stimulating inter- est in the language, customs, and traditions of the Frenchrspeakinq peoples. As much of the meetings as possible are conducted in French to give the members CIS much practical French as possible. Professor Iules Vern is sponsor. HOCKEYTEAM When Coach McElhinney issued ct call for hockey players, a green team answered. Eddie Chernosky was the only letterman returning from last year. However, several 0f the players had been stars in their high school days and the school was represented by a fighting bunch of puck-pushers. The lock of reserve material was the main draW- back to the team, forcing the players to play through a whole game without rest. At the end of the season the players were presenied with silver watch fobs. THE RED MASQUE DRAMATIC SOCIETY The Red Masque Players have realized a very eventful year, having produced four stage successes. With cm abundance of new talent, Director Mitchell selected Three-Cornered Moon for the first showing. Then, the immortal tragedy of Shakespeare, Romeo and Iuliet, which gained national recognition for the organization. Joe, G oneact play, was entered in the annual one-ctct play contest held this year at Alpine, Texas. Although the actors did not win c1 place in the showing, the tournament is to be held here in the University next year. The final produc- tion this year was A. E. W.
