Besides the three regular Intramural Seasons, the Student-Faculty Hockey and Basketball games were held. For the first time in a ndisgrace- ful number of yearsn the students won the hockey game, but the basketball game was not quite so successful. The annual Intramural Board Party was planned for May 25th. The U-HIGHWAY staff was formed in February from tenth grade volunteers Editors were elected from the general committee and the work of collecting photographs, writing squibbs, and organizing layout was started. Photogra- phers, writers, typists, artists, proofreaders, and loyal workers were pressed into service to meet the deadline so that U-Highers could have a permanent record of 1950-51. Early in the year, the annual joint committee suppers with the Girls' Club were held. Then the Boys' Clubroom was redecorated and shown to the upper school at the Thanksgiving Open House. The Boys' Club Dance, held of January 27th, was a huge success. The Girls' Club and the Boys' Club worked together on the Groundhog Day party for the seventh and eighth graders. The GIRLS' CLUB get off to a successful start with its Big-Little Sister Tea. During the first week of school, a mixer was held at neon. This was followed by Hallowe'en, Christmas, and Valentine's Day Open Houses, 0th9r important a0t1Vlti9S included the joint Committee Supperg w1+h +h9 Boys' Club and the seventh and eighth grade party.
