To start the year off on the right foot, the student organization budget was prepared. The next important activity was U-High's Leadership Conference sponsored by the Service Committee. As in the past, the Council chose the cheerleaders and sponsored the Stomp Inns. The Assembly Committee planned programs to be given every other week. The Bazaarnival, held on March lOth, was financially profitable records were purchased for the Student and socially successful. Dance Activities Pool. Under Council direction, the Canteen, which got off to a slow start last year. WHS trans' ferred from the Boys' Club to the former Atomic Shop in Belfield. Open at noon and after school, it has met with great popularity. Among the accomplish ents of the MIDWAY were the first-day-of-school issue, traditionally published, and the U-Highgrams at the Bazaarnival.
