ROBERT ALTER was diligently attending to the soaring Crosley sales in South America. RUTH TOLMAN, owner of racing penquins, and GEORGE DROLSOM, owner of a fleet of racing tractors, compared notes. George is a fireman in his spare time. DAVID WOOD, former beachcomber, now Mayor of Chestertonfpopula- tion 3,000,000j, and JUDY MEYER, head of the California Chamber of Com- merce, got together. SUZANNE MEHLER arrived in good, but greasy shape, after swimming the English Channel. GAIL MEYER, former assistant to Miss Hathorne, and a non-creative teacher of Modern Dance, chatted with LYNN MANASTER, setter of world record for silence, and BEILA GOLDMAN, dancing instructress at Sun Valley. RICHARD SCHWARTZ sent his regrets from a home for the blind where he has been placed since he ruined his eyes on television. LESLIE PAUL has become the owner of the 'You Park 'Em, We Bump 'Em' parking lot. GAIL ROOTH, librarian, arrived with JILL SCHWAB, professor of Eng- lish, and MARIAN WALTON, kindergarten teacher. BRIAN ERICKSON, head of the popular movement to de-standardize spell- ing, conversed with RUTH NECHELES, who runs a correspondence school, SHERRARD GRAY, collector of antique autos, arrived two hours late in the late st addition to his collection, with HAYM BERNSEN, driving instructor. STUART LERMAN has recently become president of the National Associ- ation for the Advancement of Captain Video. ARTHUR KOFF, rancher 'out west' Qwhere he imports leis from Oahul, came with BOB TERRY, successor to Charles Atlas. Greetings were received from ARTHUR HIRSCH, who accidently almost strangled himself with a fuchsia Cutter Cravat and is now recuperating. The loss of his sight did not stop internal surgeon DAVID TERMAN. He is now the first man ever to operate by radar. SHIRLEY RICKETTS, noted equestrian, came in a wheel chair, after fall- ing off a Shetland Pony. Soon came the highlights of the reunion. The entertainment opened with a musical selection played by a piano quartet consisting of BOB ZENER, VIRGINIA SPAETH, FRED SOLOMON, and PHILIP MARCUS. They were followed by a playlet, featuring JANE SCHNEIDERMAN, MARGARET SCHULTZ, and ELIZABETH ROBINSON, all outstanding actresses of the day, and under the directon of JANE ALLEN, who is now the head of Acrotheater. Then LOUIS ROTHSCHILD, famous comedian, took over. During his routine, BILL ZAVIS, a struggling magician, in a rage of jealousy, threw a knife at Louis. Fortunately, there was a doctor inthe house. Although JIM ROSENBLUM, skilled veterinarian, and his assistant, SABINA WAGNER, had been late due to the birth of a litter of pigs, they arrived soon enough to shoot poor Louis out of his misery. The program concluded with CATHERINE ALLISON, who was able to take time out from her engagement at the Civic Opera House to dance for the reunion.
