June 15, 1966 U-HIGH CLASS OF '51 HOLDS REUNION Today the class of '51 held their first reunion, at the home of MARILYN VICKMAN, wealthy penny collector. One of the first arrivals was ANDREA ARENTSEN, successor to Maggie McNellis on the Tintair TV Show, and her chauffeur, REUBEN HEDLUND, in a new, improved Nash. They were soon followed by JEANNIE HARRIS, head of a thriving advertising agency. JOEY KREINES, president of General Motors Corporation, and his personal secre- tary, JUDY FRIEDMAN, came in a Rocket Olds fof coursej. Atelegram was received from DEBBIE RUBY of Chevrolet Motors fame, and AUDREY RUBOVITS, who were unable to attend because of their joint debut. Since the Senate Crime Committee, headed by AARON MEYERS, was in- volved in hearings at the time of the reunion, Aaron and big time gambler MARVIN Costello GOLDSMITH were unable to be present. ERNIE KARRIS was also absent because he has devoted his life to the Ewes in Togoland. WALTER WALKER, oldest bat boy ever to be employed by the Chicago Cubs, was deep in conversation with his old buddy, DON WILLIAMS, who be- came a tester of track shoes. LARRY SHAPIRO, who took over Benny Good- rnan's band, talked theater with DOROTHY GRAY and ARTHOLIAN PALMER, the latest Broadway rages, who had come with their dress designer, ADRIAN GORDON. MAUREEN McREDMOND was unable to come from Atlantic City, where she had been running the beauty contests. JUDY LEIB, owner ofa playschool for pre-kindergarten children, arrived with CARITA CHAPMAN, famous hair stylist, who has been busy trying to keep Judy's hair curly. GIULIO FERMI, noted conductor of quiz programs, listened while ALFRED KNIGHT explained about his rocket ship, which was the first ever to reach Pluto. BEN RAVID, the first humanto set foot on Venus and candidate for the Interplanetary Council, was taking active part in this conversation. MARI JANE DeCOSTA, manager ofa water polo team, came with her star player, WALTER GREENE. They were fascinated by the tale of hot-rod racers GEORGE ZYGMUND and BROOKS SHERA. MARTIN DILLARD was busy at home feeding his prize rat, George, who now weighs 135 pounds. GABRIELLA COEN was unable to come because she was just appointed ambassador to Italy and was on her way over. ANDY DONAHUE was celebrating his new position as president of the Orange Crush Drink Company. BOB KIRTLEY, the new master painter from the faraway hills, and JEANNE CHEATHAM got together on art. Jeanne is a cartoonist for the Tribune whose editorship has been assumed by NANCY LEE. This was due to the fact that Col. McCormick was killed in his foolproof A-Bomb shelter. A heated discussion was being carried on by NANCY BRUES, president of the National Association for the Revival of the Flapper Era, and MICHAELA KAUFFMAN, champion of women's rights. MARGIE WEIST, famous psychiatrist, arrived with her raving patient, ROBERT ABRAMS, who was trying to walk on his hands in a straight jacket. At this point, practical joker MICKEY PADNOS let loose a jar of fruit flies, but the minor riot this caused was quickly suppressed by RUTH JABUREK, head of the Women's Police Force.
