However, we all agree that thev have clone verv well with all the activities under their supervision. These activities included plavs, ittterpretative reading. radio speaking. debate, discussion, and extetnporaneous speaking, besides the regular speech classes. These speech classes are required in U-High in all grades except the eleventh and twelfth. In the speech classes, we are given instruction in organizing and presenting speeches. This is a great help, lor it aids us in giving reports in our other classes. Individual training is given il necessary. aticl il' we have auv speech clelect. that is corrected. lYe are given training in inalcing speeches so as to overconte bashlulness or so we can become accustotnecl to putting our thoughts into words ol' speech as well as on paper. The niaior play production ol' the year was C1111- lain .-1j1pl1'jufl.', a three act plat. It was given No- veinber 22. under the direction of Miss .Xndersch.
