They have proven to be a group that is anxious to promote better understanding among Americans and the Spanish-speaking peoples of the world. The club has sponsored several activities, including a Christmas party for the children of the Latin-American neighborhood center. The unit presidents are Bianca Duron, Rita Engelke, Marsha Stewart, Natalie Walker, and Carol Wenzel. The unit vice-presidents are Jeanne Goolsbee, Connie Haynes, Fay Lopez and Barbara Lopez.
