Although the Spirit Club for is it Tirips spirit club Club?J can't spell, they do excel in many other areas. ln an effort to promote school spirit, they sponsor many activities, including car caravans to the football games, a card section at Homecoming, and posters for the football games. The Spirit Club members put their best foot forward in the March of Dimes Sole March and in their contribution to the P.T.A. ticket drive. The club stayed busy all year with proiects that ranged from a bake sale to an Easter egg hunt for under- privileged children. This group is commonly called the Youth tor Christ Club. In trying to reach their purpose of helping others know Christ and relate Him to their lives, the club brought Young Lite to Ui-lS. Young Life was started in Houston and has spread nation-wide, David Brock has been in charge ot the Waco Chapter of Young lite this past year.
