Troians rub the ball for good luck before a game. Clockwise, DeWayne Hale, Bill Koch Wayne Barnett, Herbert Knouff, Johnny Dolezel, J. D. Tipton, Pat Smithson, Elclred Wallis, Donnie Meier, and Ray Futch. This year the Troian Cagers had one of their best seasons while winning sixteen games and losing seven. The well balanced squad got off to a fast start by downing the Temple Wildcats 52-47 at the University High Gym. This set the stage for the rest of the Troian's season.
