We started the season with three straight wins and then lost two in a row. We then began winning again and won three more and lost two more, one to North 3I-22 and one to West by one point 30-29. The Junior High team not only won third place in the city, but went to the finals in the City Tournament losing to West again by a slim margin of 3 points 35-32, after beating Connally 33-IO, West Station 41-30, and Corsicana 35-30.
