The Schooner Sophomore Class Since the day when we were beginners in this class we have been a quiet but patient factor in University High School. We are not given to boasting for we know that Self praise is half scandal, however we have lost much of our verdancy and in this year in high school we have shown the other people that we are able to do something. . In the classroom we have kept side by side with all other classmatesg on the annual staff we have five members: Raymond Smith, Albert Kulp, Dorothy Cooper, Dwight Ellzey, and Robert Anderson. Raymond Smith was the vital part on the Debate team which won many debates. Many members of the class have taken active part in other activities, such as :Basket-ball, Debate Club, Glee Club, and Swim- ming. They have made enviable records in these lines. t Our social functions have been few but exceedingly pleasant. Since our class is the largest in number in the high school, we have put over many pleasant contests. There is a jolly set of folks, I ve lately rome arross They'll stand for almost anything, Vlfithout much time or loss All day long they work and play Without a fear or frown O, yes we are the brightest There is in all the town.
