Senior Class President I an greatly honored to be graduating from University High. As president, I have been able to become acouainted with all of my classmates. The most outstanding feature of the class of 1988 is that we all combine to form a microcosm of unique oersonalities. As I look back in the past and remember us as freshman; we associated, communicated, and related to one another as friends and students. I have recently noticed a positive chance in our attitudes, outlooks on.life, and personalities. We can thank our teachers for that improvement because they guided us throughout our hioh school vears. In the future, I ask the members of the class of 1988 to use their potential to the best of their abilities in whatever goals they pursue. .Tust remember, Life is what you make it. To The Class Of 1988 From Mrs. Gironda We have spent many hours together during the past four years; and I have come to know all of you as unique and special individuals. I have also attempted to impart to you as much knowledge as possible in the areas of literature writing, research, analysis, and verbal communication. The rewards I have recieved are evident, in your intellectual growth; and in your expressions of gratitude. Besides success, happines, and love, I wish for each of you to cultivate the following qualities in your personalities: The wisdom of Socratees The courage of Antigone The creativity of Shakespeare The optimism of Wordsworth The empathy of Dickens The awarenessof Isben ........................and the individuality of Emerson I would also like to especially thank the members of the Literary Magazine Staff, who helped me formulate this publication.
