118 Class Cronicle Twas the day before graduation and all through U.A.S. Not a senior was stirring; Where were they, can you quess? The girls at the beauty parlor, the boys at the hair cutters No statement of: I wish we could do it again did any of them utter As they sat on line waiting for their time to come close, They began to give University High a cheerful toast: Here’s to our time as freshmans, full of merrymant and cheer; Although some of us had too much merryment and to the boot By Sophomore year. Here’s to our time as a Sophomore with statements we cannot rid Statements like “I'll give you a karate chop’’, and statements like ‘God forbid!”’ Here’s to our time as Juniors, the terrible ‘Ho Hummer’, Struggling to make up Physic homeworks and facing classes in the summer. Here’s to our time as Seniors, the time we are supposed to revel, Only quite difficult to do when you are confined to the third third level. Here’s to all our teachers, who have called quite unique names indeed, Teachers that have truly taught us: taught us that we have the power to lead.
