NATALYN DUNSON-PRESIDENTIAL ADDRESS In September of 1982, the class of 1986 came together to form what would become a unique, diverse el- ement in University’s history. We arrived as immature individuals seeking novel experiences, new friendships, and a “special education.” Over the past four years, we’ve encountered many situations, developed new friendshps, and gained a special education. Physically, mentally, and emotionally we have grown into a close family unit. In the final assessment, we have individually contributed a great deal to the history of University High. As a family unit, we have acquired more than we have given in, having been a part of the Uni- versity environment. No words can effectively express my feelings for the class of 1986. More than just having established unbreakable spiritual and emotional bonds, we have become links in many chains of friendships. To my classmates ... “Never forget our times together for they have been learning experiences. When each of you have acquired your aspirations, don’t forget your roots in University on the struggle you undertook to obtain your goals. Most of all, never forget ‘the way we were’.” Together, forever in spirit . . . the Class of 1986. Peace and love always.
