Madrigals The Concert Choir of University High School participated in the major choral concerts: Fall, Holi- day, and Spring; they were responsible for fund rais- ers, assemblies, and the So. Calif. Vocal Assn. Cho- ral Festival. Many of these singers also contributed their talents on stage or back stage for the Spring Musical West Side Story. Concert Choir The UHS Madrigal Sing- ers is a select group of 16 singers chosen by audition for the quality of their musicianship. This year ' s Madrigals performed in the three major concerts: Fall, Holiday and Spring; they also participated in the park Newport Carol Fest, Saddleback College Chamber Singers festival and the So. California Vocal Assn. Choral Festi- val. Most of the members were also in the cast of West Side Story. Barbershoppe Quartets Mens ' Barbershoppe Quartet: leff Sudakow, Evan Ramer, Bob Renaud, Phil Cold Mens ' and Womens ' Barbershoppe Quartets: These newly organized groups, after an absence of two years, delighted audiences in concert per- formances in the commu- nity with their old fash- ioned harmonies.
