S.E.fl. This club consists of a group of students who all share a common concern and interest in the environment. They are interested in broad- ening their own awareness of environmental issues and in increasing the general con- sciousness of the earth as a finite and closed ecosystem here on the University High School campus. Their first big commitment was to organize and maintain our school ' s first recycling effort; they run an on-going program to recy- cle all the bond paper thrown away by students and administrators each day. They also believe in having fun and getting outdoors and have gone on walks in the Newport Back Bay, the San )oaquin fresh water marsh, have gone on a whale-watch- ing trip, and gone cross- country skiing. Students for Environmental Action: Shelley Anderson, Suzanne Bolding, Libby Sillesen, Karen Loomis, Karen Karpowich, lennifer (ones, Ena Coyal, Alex Burgnon, Jim Cheathan, FBia Future Business Leaders of America is a national organi- zation whose goals are to help students gain confi- dence in themselves and to help them make the success- ful transition from the class- room to the business world.
