0 Developing a stronger concert sound and improving our march- ing techniques along with adiusting to our new director, Mr. Kuhns, have made this year a unique and very rewarding expe-' rience for most band students. Highlights of this year's marching performances were the California Band Review, the Tustin Tiller Days Parade, and the Laguna Beach Patriots Day Parade. All these plus the traditional football half-time shows. This year brought the band two new concert performances, a winter con- cert in December and a pops concert in February. 4, g r ffl? ,yi Early morning practices, competitions, and halftime shows are all things the 1975-76 drill team will remember. Lead by captain Con- nie Mahler and co-captain Sue Bacon, we've put in hours of work' perfecting routines for parades and shows. At summer,camp we earned a first place trophy for hardest working team and spent a fun filled week together. All in all it's been a busy, fulfilling year with many memories of good times and friendships. The Spirited l37
