The girls' tennis team, coached by Miss Marilyn Hastings held their own in league play this fall and looks like a strong contender this spring. It is a young, experienced team which has a lot of depth. This fall we had two Greater Spokane League cham- pions, Janie Walsh and Cara Westerhoff. These girls are still hopefuls for this spring. Mr. Gilchrist, head coach of the boys' tennis team, stated that he had no prediction for the up- coming spring tennis season. My prediction rests on the fact y that we should have a stronger team this spring, being able to improve on our Fall Record.
