ll-High' Gymnasts Go For Th Gu to! U-High Gymnasts, standing fourth in the league at the time of publication, are mostly all returnees of last years team. Coach Oswald states, The girls from last year have improved their skills greatly and it really shows: their optional routines are of higher risk and quality this year. Most nights the girls have very hard workouts, but once in a while the team isn't too highly motivated. Coach Oswald continues, The girls are now looking forward to some good competition in optional meets against C.V., Shadle, and Ferris. Stacy Bolyard is last year's State Competitor. We hope to have more of our girls go to State this year and from the looks of things right now it could be very promising. ' ' Above: Marci Allen accomplishes an excellent mount on the balance beam.
