Spark Excitement in Titan The bigger-than-ever B-squad boos- ted enthusiasm and spirit at U-High all through the '78-'79 sports year. They cheered the Junior Varsity and B-squad teams on to great achieve- ments, and also assisted the Varsity cheerleaders in planning pep ass- emblies, dances and other school- related activities. The Fighting B's of U-High are, first row: Wendy Anderson, Loretta Bueschke, Laurie Gross and Sandra Howell. Second row: Sherri Stiltner, Danielle Merserve, Ronda Walter and Kay McMulkin. Third row: Julie Bobbett and Connie Grenz. Ten years later and still going strong! The '78-'79 Varsity cheerleaders are: Front row: Maria Delegans, Shannon Stiltner and Vicki Nelson. Second row: Renae Waldby, Les Simanton and Lora Driskill. Third row: Lynne Eide, Debbi Haskins, Diana Bueshke, and Patti Kealy.

Cheerleaders Pacing the school year for nine months, U-High's Varsity Cheer- leaders raised the Titan fans' spirit to greater heights than ever before achieved. The girls dedi- cated a lot of their time and energy to making this year the best ever. Enlarged to ten girls, Below: Both squads of cheerleaders combined to cheer on the football team as they entered the iield for another victory. the squad got going with Spirit Camp in the summer where they took top honors, including the highly prized Unity Award. Dur- ing the year they planned pep assemblies, dances, sports ban- quets and many other activities to honor the Titan teams. Bight: I'd rather be a raindrops, chant Titan fans at U-High's basketball victory over C.V. 168 mq..,,e Even though things have changed a little since 1969, the spirit and enthusiasm that the U-High cheerleaders bring to the Titan fans will always stay the same. it
