Spirit Paces Homecoming Beginning with the ever pop- ular Lick 'em, Sock 'em, Top 'em Day, Homecoming emphasized a week of spirit. The week made it's way through Pajama Day, 50's Day, Color Day, and Football Day. The Senior Class Oilicers and A.S.B. Oiiicers developed three new ideas this year. Pajama Day, a day to wear your P.J.'s, included a Bed- Race. A dancing contest be- tween the classes on 50's Day and a Football day completed the additions. During halftime it was an- nounced that the Seniors ac- cumulated the most activity points. RobinAschenbrener, the Senior princess, was crowned Homecoming Queen as her escort Kelly Roark looked on. Time passed so fast and it seemed like a dream. I felt like it reallywasn't happening, Robin stated. Vickie VanCott won the Camero during halftime as Robin pick- ed up her winning ticket. Vickie commented, I felt shocked and kept feeling like I was a person on a game show. I almost fainted when I was down talking to Mr. Stickney. After the thrill boiled down, I realized how much work needed to b 2 done on the car. Below: The crowd looks on as Vickie VanCott runs to accept her new car. Top Right: A moment of Senior Victory shows on the faces of Sr. Homecoming Queen Robin Aschenbrener and escort Kelly Roark. 91 ls.. I .Wt L.
