Administration Proves Busy A new starting time and a new Senior class schedule most reminded students of Central Administration work this year. But there is a lot more to it than that explained Mr. Charles Stocker, Assistant Su- perintendent of Schools. Mr. Stocker said that an earlier starting time for the Senior High Schools provided enough time to bus elementary stu- dents at the end of the day. Superintendent Dr. George Eisentrout approved the tinal schedule adjustment which required arriving 15 minutes earlier. A new basic eduction law required Seniors to attend a full 180 days of school. This rule was implemented by CV administration, but was not their decision, Mr. Stocker said. District Administration is acc- omplished under the super- vision of the tive School Board members elected from the CV community. These members volunteer their etforts all year to assure a smooth running school program. Mr. Stocker emphasized that all persons in the central administration staff relate to the U-hi program. From time to time everyone is involved in curriculum planning, text- book selection, staff selection, and general problem sol- ving for the Univesity student body. . Wulff Join Staff: New to the University High School admini- stration is Mr. Kevin Wulif who joined the staff in September as Assistant Principal. According to Mr. Jim Stickney, Mr. Wulifhas been in the Central Valley School District for ten years. He was at Bowdish Junior High for live years as Assistant Principal and spent another tive years as Assistant Principal at Evergreen Junior College. This year there has been much better dressing and a much improved attitude at our school. This in turn has affected the teachers attitudes for the better, said Mr. Stickney. Keeping the future growth in population in mind, Mr. Stickney sees a decline in the coming seventh and eighth graders. They stopped making babies in those years, he added, but we still hope to have a new high school within live years. 'M'-if-so . ....,--f-. - ef i ,If-v.
