Page sixteen fficers, ounci 5, ana! Commiffeef Each of the four senior high classes has as a steering committee either a representative council or officers. The responsibilities of these students, elected by their classmates, include plans for class activities and projects. The Senior Class officers handled the com- mencement arrangements and information concerning colleges which was sent to all seniors. The quartet of junior officers directed the Prom and Junior-Senior banquet plans, the two class dances, and other fund-raising proj- ects which included a Cakewalk in February. an Class cfivifies The Sophomore Council was responsible for its class dance, funds, and activities. Jay Suer, Bud McFall, Tom Marshall, Dave Rich, Tom Stempel, Jackie Harrell, Janice Witmer, and Charlotte Ellson served during 1956-57. Eight freshmen served on the Freshman Council this year to direct the ninth graders in plans for the first class dance, Rhapsody in Blue. Beth Cresson, Barb Steele, Jane Steinbeck, Ron Rostorfer, Toivo Raun, Chris McEvoy, Alison Householder, and Bill Snyder were elected to the Council.
